EPC searches
A postcode or address search is sent to the official Energy Performance of Buildings Data service so that matching public certificate records can be returned. EPC records are public data; do not enter private notes or unrelated personal information in the search box.
Analytics and consent
Google Analytics loads only after you allow analytics cookies. We use it to understand pages viewed, searches completed and outbound offer clicks. Affiliate and independent outbound events are not sent before analytics consent. You can change your choice through the privacy settings control.
Affiliate and provider links
Clicking an external link gives the destination the ordinary technical information sent by your browser, such as IP address and referring page. Affiliate links can also contain the Awin publisher and advertiser IDs needed for attribution. Home Energy Check does not send your EPC search, contact details or property notes directly to an affiliate provider. Read the destination's privacy notice before requesting a quote or ordering.
Contact and newsletter forms
If you use a form, we process the details you submit to answer the enquiry or provide the requested email. Service providers used for delivery process that data on our behalf. Do not submit special-category or financial data. You may ask us to access, correct or delete information we hold about you by emailing the address above.
